This year we are pre-booking all our flu vaccinations so that we can maintain social distancing in the surgery.
Please call 01793 536541 to book your appointment.
We have clinics available so far, on:
More clinics will be added regularly throughout the next few months but we would advise patients to get their flu vaccination early as there is likely to be a bigger uptake than normal and when the vaccines have gone we may not be able to get any more.
Our Saturday Clinic will involve pre-booked appointments only. We will have up to 6 patients being vaccinated at one time. You will need to arrive on time and wait outside the surgery until you are called for your time slot. Please bring an umbrella if it is raining as you will not be allowed into the waiting room until your allotted time slot.
We will make sure that you are managed carefully through the surgery to ensure you can maintain social distancing.
All vaccinations will take place at the entrance to a clinical room and you will need to be prepared to get your arm ready (ie out of clothing) prior to the appointment, so please wear something that is easy to remove but covers your underwear ie a t-shirt.
All six patients being vaccinated will move through the building together and be guided out of a separate exit once all the vaccinations are complete for the group.
Unfortunately we will not be able to deal with queries and other issues at these appointments.
Thank you for your understanding.
From 15th June all patients (over the aged of 3) MUST wear a face mask or face covering to the surgery. There are a few exemptions, including those with learning disabilities or severe breathing difficulties.
If you do not wear a face covering then you may be turned away from your appointment.
This is to protect patients and staff. Thank you for your co-operation during this difficult time.
Please do not come into the surgery. We are dealing with patients who need emergency treatment over the phone. Our reception desk is not open to book appointments or for any other queries.
If you do need to speak to a GP urgently, please call our main number on 01793 536541. (more…)
